Student Cases

Welcome to the Student Cases Team! We are in the Governance and Compliance Directorate and we work closely with:

• Students
• Schools
• Report and Support
• Leeds University Union
• Committees

For students, we are here to resolve complaints and academic appeals, and to uphold University standards on academic integrity, academic regulations, student health and student conduct. We aim to maintain transparency and respect throughout the process and to reach fair outcomes in our casework.

We are happy to support, advise and guide Schools and members of staff on the student cases processes. We also give procedural advice to individual students.

We also coordinate case reviews by the Pro Vice-Chancellors and by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for HE (OIA).
